COVID-19 PATIENT UPDATE

  • If you, a member of your household or anyone you have contact with experience even mild symptoms of Covid-19 DO NOT COME IN TO THE CLINIC AND PLEASE CANCEL ANY PRE-BOOKED DOMICILIARY VISIT until after you have observed an isolation period as per Government guidelines on quarantine.

Members of my staff and I will also follow these guidelines.

  • If you, a member of your household or anyone you have contact with experience any symptoms of Covid-19 within 7 days of your appointment, PLEASE CALL THE SURGERY TO LET US KNOW – THIS IS TO KEEP OTHERS SAFE AND REDUCE THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS

  • By popular request, we are still operating within the social distancing guidelines, which means that the current extended gaps between surgery appointments will remain until further notice. Please, therefore, try to attend at your given time in order for this measure to work effectively and to allow us time to sanitise public areas between appointments. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, THAT OF OTHERS AND TO HELP REDUCE THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS..

  • As the rules of lockdown are entering the next phase, we are continuing to use PPE for both your and our safety.Although the use of face coverings is no longer mandatory, we respectfully request that, if at all possible, you continue to wear a non-surgical mask or other form of cloth face covering during your visit, in accordance with the latest Government advice. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, THAT OF OTHERS AND TO HELP REDUCE THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS.

  • All patients, visitors and staff will be temperature scanned on entering the reception area. Staff will be regularly scanned throughout the working day and will carry out regular Lateral Flow Tests.

  • Full sanitizing procedures and PPE requirements will be strictly adhered to by myself and my staff during all surgery and domiciliary visits. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, THAT OF OTHERS AND TO HELP REDUCE THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS

  • If you have any concerns regarding the above or have any questions regarding general foot care, we are still operating a telephone consultation service, during which you will be advised whether you should be seen.
